Manpuku, Kingsford

In my uni days, I used to spend a lot of lunchtimes around Kingsford at all the little restaurants on Anzac Parade – but this time visiting as a non-student, I was quite amazed at how much the restaurant offerings in the area have changed in terms of variety. One of the more recent additions is Manpuku, a ramen joint which is quite busy on a Friday night.

It’s Time for Thai, Kingsford

So as I mentioned in my review of Siam Fusion, there are many cheap dining options on Anzac Parade near UNSW and it was only after I finished up with my uni life that I decided to try out Time for Thai to see what all the fuss was about.

Siam Fusion, Kingsford

As my time as an UNSW student draws to an end, I thought it was appropriate to share with you all what one of my favourite restaurants to head to during lunch breaks is – Siam Fusion, a cheap and cheerful Thai restaurant on Anzac Parade that only opened in the last year or so. It’s not too far of a walk from UNSW’s main entrance (maybe 5 mins tops if you’re dawdling) and they have crazy cheap lunch specials if you get in early enough.
