TGI Friday’s, North Ryde

TGI Friday’s is a popular American restaurant chain that has finally arrived in Australia and opened their first Sydney branch! It is located on the cinema level of Macquarie Centre (near the bus stops), featuring booths, tables and bar seating all embellished with their signature red and white branding, along with plasma screens playing American football.

Noggi, Macquarie Centre

When Noggi first opened at Macquarie Centre last year, I was pretty excited because there were no frozen yoghurt stalls in this area, the closest being Pink Guava at Chatswood Chase (which isn’t that good…). Plus, Noggi had free samples and stress toy giveaways! Noggi has since expanded a new store at Strathfield which I haven’t had the chance to visit yet, but in the meantime here is a review of the Macquarie one.

Nick’s Diner Burger & Pancakes, North Ryde

Nick’s Diner is now closed

“What do you want to eat?” I ask my friend of whom I tend to have half-yearly catch ups with.
“Not Asian please,” she responds.
I guess we eat Asian food a lot and since she was craving burgers, we decide to visit a burger joint.
