A couple years back I went to this restaurant in Strathfield which is known for their chilli chicken. When I say chilli chicken – I mean marinated in chilli, cooked in chilli and served with chilli on a hotplate. I still have horrid memories of this place because of that dish destroying all my taste buds in seconds but somehow my friends convinced me to go back.

Yet another froyo parlour has opened in Sydney! Yogurberry, the international froyo chain set up shop in Strathfield last week, right down the road from 3 other parlours including the likes of Moochi and Noggi. They’ve already got several stores across Sydney including Chatswood, Eastwood and World Square and this time are upping the ante with their newest store.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the abundance of frozen yoghurt parlours popping up in recent years? The first (and best one in my opinion) I tried was White Apple near Town Hall in 2008. Not long after, Pink Guava opened at Chatswood Chase, Noggi at Macquarie Centre, Wow Cow at Darlinghurst and a couple more at Harbourside and World Square. Not all of them last unfortunately (R.I.P. White Apple) but the one which seems the be the new ”it” place is Moochi at Strathfield.

Strathfield, the self-proclaimed Korean version of Chinatown. This place is bustling full of Korean restaurants right, left and centre so it only seems fitting to eat Korean food when here.
