Fishbone is located in the heart of Queenstown, close to many of the other restaurants and shops in town. They offer fresh seafood with a menu that changes daily, so it’s quite exciting to see what will be on offer today!
Over the last winter season, I did a short snowboarding trip to Queenstown again! Apart from being one of the most beautiful small towns in the world, it’s also home to a lot of amazing food. Our group did a run to the amazing Fergburger every day but aside from that, we set out to try as many tasty restaurants as possible for each dinner.
To end off my recent trip to Queenstown, our group thought we’d spend our last night at a nice restaurant. The Amisfield Bistro is about 15-20 minutes drive out of the main city and is attached to the local vineyards. The bistro looks like a scene taken out of a movie; it’s a large brick building surrounded by an open picturesque landscape with mountains in the background that truly takes your breath away.
Prior to landing in Queenstown, our group went on a mad hunt to find some good food recommendations. My friend read online that one of the great restaurants we needed to check out was Winnies, a pub-style restaurant known for its pizzas.
The last time I went to Queenstown, I told you guys all about their amazing burger joint called Fergburger. Upon returning to Queenstown this year, it was similarly our very first meal of the trip after our plane trip left us famished. To my delight, they’ve also opened a bakery next door called Fergbaker, which was my last meal of the trip. But first, let’s see if the burgers are just as good as last time!
