The Botanist, Kirribilli

To celebrate our recent 2nd blog birthday, we decided to have a small dinner at The Botanist, Kirribilli. We tried to get a booking a week before our planned date, but to our dismay they were already booked out two weeks ago! Thankfully they reserve half the restaurant for walk-ins and we were able to nab a table at 6pm on a Saturday night, but it did fill up completely not long after.

Drambuie Bar, Town Hall

There seem to be a lot of pop up dining and drinking experiences around Sydney these days and now there’s one to please the whisky connoisseurs who may know a thing or two about Drambuie, a sweeter whisky with lovely notes of honey and spices infused into it. I must confess that I had never heard of it before, although it has been around for over 260 years and has quite an interesting heritage to do with a Scottish prince and a secret recipe.

La Petite Espresso & Slider Bar, Wynyard

It was only a matter of time before an eatery dedicated to sliders was opened in Sydney, and this one is a sparkling new takeaway bar at the Met Centre in Wynyard catering to the suits who work around there.
