Product Review: Dish’d Food Store

Gourmet is usually the last word you would associate with frozen home delivered meals, but new kid on the block Dish’d is looking to change that, with a wide selection of tasty and yes, gourmet meals delivered straight to your door the next business day after you order online at www.dishd.com.au. All you need to do is heat up the meals (or defrost them if they’re a dessert) and in about 5-10 minutes, you’ve got yourself a pretty decent dinner when you get home from work!

McDonald’s Create Your Taste Burgers, Castle Hill

Recently there’s been news of some interesting changes happening over at the Castle Hill McDonald’s branch. Maccas is trialling some new changes to the way they serve customers, and when I heard that you could now create your own burgers and receive table service, I knew I just had to give the golden arches a visit.

Bridge Street Garage, Sydney

You won’t miss the bright neon sign of the Bridge Street Garage when you walk through the city, and we were drawn in like moths to a flame. The Garage is an American themed restaurant with a bar area fronting the street and large tables at the back for a sit-down dinner. Our group settled easily into a comfortable booth facing the kitchen. The American theme also extended to the drinks list with beers such as Samuel Adams available on the menu.

Kobe Jones (Good Food Month), King Street Wharf

Yayoi, Circular Quay

The Wagamama at Circular Quay has vacated its premises and in its place is a new branch of the Japanese chain called Yayoi which serves up “teishoku” meals a.k.a. meal sets. The menu is quite extensive and the photos make everything look pretty appealing.
